Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide specialized diagnostic and catheter-based cardiovascular interventions. The successful candidate will be responsible for patient assessment, interventional procedures, peri-procedural management, and post-procedure care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct cardiovascular assessments and review relevant investigations.
Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization and catheter-based interventions.
Provide coronary and other percutaneous cardiovascular procedures within the scope .
Conduct pre-procedure assessments, patient preparation, .
Collaborate with Cath Lab staff, cardiac surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
Provide post-procedure care, follow-up, and clinical recommendations.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and emergency interventions.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
Recognized specialist qualification in Cardiology.
Demonstrable experience in Interventional Cardiology.
Proven experience in cardiac catheterization and catheter-based procedures.
Valid medical and specialist practicing licence.
Strong knowledge of invasive cardiovascular diagnostics and interventions.
Ability to manage cardiovascular emergencies.
Knowledge of Cath Lab, infection prevention, and radiation safety protocols.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
Experience in a tertiary cardiac centre or high-volume Cath Lab is an added advantage.
