1. About JobClave
Welcome to JobClave. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use.
JobClave is a simple hiring platform that allows employers to post jobs and manage applications via a simplified ATS, while helping candidates discover relevant opportunities. JobClave acts only as a platform connecting users and is not involved in hiring decisions or employment outcomes.
2. Eligibility
By using JobClave, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years old or legally permitted to use the platform.
- The information you provide is accurate and up to date.
- You will use the platform in compliance with all applicable laws.
3. Employer Responsibilities
Employers and recruiters agree that they will:
- Post only genuine job opportunities and provide accurate information.
- Strictly Prohibited: Not request payment, "processing fees," or sensitive financial information from candidates. JobClave is a "No-Pay" platform.
- Use candidate information only for legitimate recruitment purposes in compliance with data protection laws.
JobClave reserves the right to modify a job title or description where we reasonably believe it contains an error, constitutes spam or an intent to spam, is misleading, or is intended for data harvesting.
JobClave reserves the right to remove postings or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information in applications and profiles.
- Conducting their own due diligence before accepting offers or sharing personal details.
Candidates should never send money to employers on this platform. While we may provide verification badges, JobClave does not guarantee the legitimacy of every employer.
5. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use automated systems (scrapers, bots, or spiders) to extract data from the platform.
- Post defamatory, offensive, or illegal content.
- Attempt to breach the security or integrity of the platform.
6. Verification Badges
JobClave may assign “Verified” badges based on internal processes. Verification does not constitute endorsement, guarantee, or legal certification of a company. Users are encouraged to independently verify all opportunities.
7. Intellectual Property
All branding, logos, software, and platform materials are owned by or licensed to JobClave. You retain ownership of the content you post (CVs/Job Ads), but grant JobClave a license to host and display this content to facilitate platform services.
8. Limitation of Liability
JobClave is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We are not responsible for hiring decisions, accuracy of user content, interactions between users, or fraudulent activities conducted outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, JobClave shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall first be sought for resolution through amicable negotiation.
10. Changes to These Terms
JobClave may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
