About this role
American Christian Academy (ACA) is recruiting for its 10-Month, full-time Graduate Trainee Programme in Ibadan, Oyo. This programme is designed for young, fresh graduates who are at the beginning of their professional journey, eager to learn, and committed to growing both professionally and personally. Operating within a nurturing Christian international K–12 school environment, trainees will be exposed to international best practices and real responsibilities from the outset. Successful candidates will be assigned to one of three primary areas: Teaching, Academic Support, or Administrative Support, working alongside dedicated professionals committed to biblical values and academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage in hands-on learning, structured mentorship, and regular feedback sessions to develop valuable professional skills.
- Take direct ownership of daily responsibilities within your assigned placement track (Teaching, Academic Support, or Administrative Support).
- Collaborate with academic and non-academic staff to support a nurturing and professional learning environment.
- Demonstrate initiative, strong critical thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement throughout the 10-month duration.
- Maintain professionalism and live an exemplary lifestyle that positively influences students and the wider school community.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree with a Second Class Upper Division from an accredited university.
- Demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, and sound judgment skills.
- Show high initiative, the ability to take ownership of tasks, and openness to constructive feedback.
- Be comfortable working and operating within a Christian environment guided by Biblical values.
- Must be a fresh graduate eager to start a professional journey in education or administration.
