About this role

Flutterwave is seeking a stellar Senior Associate/Manager for its Liquidity Management team under Global Operations in Lekki, Lagos. Founded on the principle that every African must be able to participate and thrive in the global economy, Flutterwave has built a trusted payment infrastructure for borderless transactions. In this critical role, you will help build out integrated liquidity management systems and risk management processes, ensuring money is in the right place, at the right time, and in the right currency. You will work alongside internal teams and business partners to quantify risk, optimize cash flows for regional payment processing, and make the regional financial system truly programmable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze cash flows and financial trends across various Flutterwave products.
  • Quantify liquidity risk and conduct rigorous analyses to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Manage and execute fund movements across various corporate and operating bank accounts.
  • Create and utilize dashboards and data visualizations to communicate key liquidity metrics for daily management and long-term reviews.
  • Draft, review, and update Treasury procedures, and conduct operational training for the wider Global Operations team.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on financial performance, liquidity, and risk to senior management, providing actionable insights.
  • Perform payment-related operational tasks, including handling customer inquiries and formal requests for information.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally from ideation to solution, managing relationships seamlessly across all business tiers from engineers to senior executives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5–9 years of direct experience in Treasury, Liquidity Operations, or Financial Operations.
  • Proven experience in client engagement and managing cross-functional projects.
  • Strong analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Intellectual curiosity about fintech, payments, and technology with a high aptitude for understanding customer use cases.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented mindset with the ability to manage proactive and reactive tasks simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and adapting quickly to the rapid changes of a hyper-growth startup environment.
