About this role
Rite Foods Limited is seeking a highly experienced Lead, Talent Management for a full-time position. The Lead, Talent Management is responsible for developing and implementing talent management strategies that attract, develop, engage, and retain high-performing employees across the organization. This role oversees critical talent initiatives, including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, career development, learning and development, and workforce planning. It requires a strategic HR professional capable of maintaining operational discipline, enforcing standards, and driving an inclusive, high-performance culture across all departments.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and forecast workforce requirements in alignment with organizational strategy and objectives, ensuring periodic updates.
- Maintain an accurate database of manning and grade levels across the company while proactively identifying and rectifying variations.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment activities—including vacancy identification, advertisement, candidate screening, testing, and interviewing—in alignment with the approved workforce plan.
- Collaborate with departmental heads to conduct comprehensive training needs assessments and develop organization-wide training plans.
- Drive the implementation of targeted learning and development programmes to address staff skills and competency gaps.
- Manage the organization-wide performance management system and identify appropriate career interventions in collaboration with functional leaders.
- Coordinate and drive operational actions regarding employee appointments, redeployments, relief assignments, and promotions.
- First degree or its equivalent in Business Administration or a related discipline.
- Professional certification in HR Management (e.g., SPHRi, CIPM, or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 12 years of job-relevant experience in a well-structured organization, with a strong preference for the manufacturing or FMCG sectors.
- At least 5 years of experience operating in a dedicated managerial role.
- Advanced skills in HR strategy planning, manpower forecasting, strategic talent sourcing, and succession path planning.
- Deep working knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law, employment legislations, and global talent management best practices.
