Graduate Trainees - Tender Support

Fairtex Nigeria Limited is seeking ambitious young professionals to join its full-time Graduate Trainee Program as Tender Support Officers in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. Operating within the Oil & Gas and Energy sectors, this program focuses on building a foundation in tendering, bid management, business development, contracts administration, procurement support, and commercial operations. Trainees will undergo a structured development pathway designed to turn theoretical knowledge into practical expertise under the guidance of industry mentors, contributing directly to major energy and industrial projects across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate fully in all structured training modules, project simulations, and developmental assignments.
• Assist teams in reviewing tender specifications, drafting bid proposals, and gathering critical documentation for commercial submissions.
• Support contract administration and procurement tracking workflows under the supervision of senior operations managers.
• Research market trends and compile data to identify new business development and technical project opportunities.
• Maintain clear, professional communication and collaborative links across engineering, supply chain, and commercial departments.
• Utilize productivity software to prepare presentations, build spreadsheets, and log technical operations files.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Project Management, Procurement & Supply Chain, Industrial Relations, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) completion or a valid exemption certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
• High motivation to learn commercial operations within a fast-paced energy framework.
