BuyPower is seeking a proactive, solutions-driven Customer Support Agent for a full-time role in Abuja. Operating at the intersection of the Energy and Fintech industries, this position serves as the vital first point of contact for customers. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering empathetic, high-quality service, resolving inquiries efficiently across multiple channels, and collaborating with internal teams to continuously optimize the overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customers via phone, email, and chat, responding to inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while tracking metrics to maintain high satisfaction levels and meet established response time targets.
- Escalate complex customer concerns to specialized internal teams and track them to ensure thorough, timely resolution.
- Maintain precise, accurate records of all customer interactions, feedback, and support requests within the company database.
- Educate users on company products, services, and structural policies while identifying recurring issues to report to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve service delivery and stay up to date with product updates and industry best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant discipline. 1–3 years of experience in Customer Support, Customer Service,
- Customer Experience, or a related role. Strong verbal and written communication skills alongside exceptional conflict-resolution abilities.
- Proven ability to remain calm, professional, and customer-focused under high-pressure scenarios.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace; hands-on experience with CRM or specialized helpdesk platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
