South Shore Women's and Children's Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented young professional for the full-time position of Human Resources Officer (NYSC) in Lagos. Operating within a specialist healthcare facility known for its culture of excellence, efficiency, and empathy, this entry-level role is tailored for actively serving National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members. The officer will support the daily operations of the human resources department, helping to manage administrative workflows that maintain a well-supported medical team and ensure seamless, patient-centered care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily HR administrative duties, including maintaining up-to-date employee records and filing personnel documentation.

  • Support the recruitment process by sorting CVs, scheduling interviews, and communicating with job applicants.

  • Coordinate the onboarding and orientation processes for new hires, interns, and medical staff.

  • Help track staff attendance, leave schedules, and performance review timelines across hospital departments.

  • Address basic internal inquiries regarding hospital HR policies, benefits, and workplace guidelines in a professional manner.

  • Assist in planning internal employee engagement activities, training programs, and team-building events.

Requirements

  • Must be a current NYSC corper deployed to Lagos or preparing to stream into camp with placement flexibility.

  • Candidates should possess relevant academic qualifications in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or any related discipline.
