About this role

BAS is seeking a full-time Recruitment Specialist in Abuja, Nigeria. Operating within a professional corporate framework, this role focuses on executing end-to-end talent acquisition strategies, managing candidate onboarding, and maintaining structured employee personnel records. The specialist will serve as a vital driver of human resource operations, ensuring the organization attracts, selects, and successfully integrates high-caliber talent across multiple business sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and assessing qualified candidates for diverse roles.

  • Coordinate human resource operations, transitioning selected talent from the interview phase into structured corporate teams.

  • Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process to ensure new hires are seamlessly integrated into the organization's workflows.

  • Handle employee documentation, verifying compliance, credentials, and legal qualifications during the hiring cycle.

  • Maintain and organize a secure employee records management system to track historical staffing metrics and personnel archives.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various subsidiaries to identify, map, and fulfill corporate staffing needs efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Management, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 2–4 years’ experience in recruitment, HR operations, onboarding, employee documentation, or employee records management.

  • Previous recruitment or HR operations experience within the Financial Services and Health Sector is preferred.

  • Experience recruiting for roles in finance, investment, insurance, HMO, healthcare operations, technology, sales, business development, and corporate services is an added advantage.

  • Experience working in a multi-subsidiary, fast-growing, or group-structured organisation is an advantage.

  • Professional HR certification is considered an added advantage.
