About this role

A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited is seeking an experienced corporate commercial professional for the position of Sales Manager. Located in Lagos, this role focuses on driving high-value business-to-business (B2B) sales transactions within the heavy-duty commercial vehicle sector. The manager will be responsible for executing strategic sales campaigns, managing fleet accounts, and serving as a key intermediary between corporate clients and internal technical support teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategy Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies specifically for heavy-duty trucks.

  • Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

  • B2B Pipeline Development: Drive bulk and fleet sales by target marketing to corporate clients and government agencies.

  • Deal Structuring: Structure and negotiate high-value commercial agreements, including tailored credit and asset lease arrangements.

  • Client Acquisition: Identify and acquire new corporate clients across key economic sectors including haulage, logistics, construction, FMCG distribution, and oil & gas.

  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with fleet owners and corporate key decision-makers.

  • Technical Consultation: Advise clients on exact truck specifications based on individual operational needs, such as load capacity, terrain, fuel efficiency, and axle configuration.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal technical engineering teams to recommend suitable configurations and hardware customization for clients.

Requirements Education & Domain Knowledge
  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Industry Insight: Strong operational understanding of heavy-duty trucks and corporate fleet operations.

Experience & Skills
  • Tenure: 5–7 years of progressive experience in heavy-duty truck sales or automotive B2B sales.

  • Commercial Capabilities: Excellent negotiation and high-value deal-closing skills.

  • Core Competencies: Strong analytical, diagnostic, and corporate reporting skills.
