Audit Associate

A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Limited is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented professional for the position of Audit Associate. This entry-to-early career role is focused on supporting internal audit workflows, reviewing internal control frameworks, and ensuring operational compliance across the company's various departments and branches. The ideal candidate will possess solid problem-solving abilities and a willingness to travel for field-based inventory and facility inspections.

• Audit Execution: Assist in planning and executing comprehensive operational, financial, and compliance internal audits across multiple departments and branches.

• Testing & Documentation: Perform detailed audit testing and carefully document audit procedures in strict accordance with established audit programs.

• Process Analysis: Analyze day-to-day business processes to actively identify internal control weaknesses, operational risks, and distinct opportunities for process improvement.

• Reporting: Prepare clear, concise audit documentation and formal reports that outline specific audit findings alongside actionable strategic recommendations.

• Follow-up Reviews: Follow up diligently on previous audit findings to verify and ensure that approved corrective actions have been fully implemented.

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

• Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and specialized audit or accounting software platforms.

• Tenure: 0–2 years of relevant internal audit or general accounting experience.

• Industry Domain: Prior experience working within logistics or supply chain management environments is considered a strong plus.

• Core Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, high attention to detail, and robust organizational skills.

• Communication: Good written and verbal communication capabilities.

• Teamwork & Mobility: Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team, coupled with a willingness to travel to warehouses, ports, or regional branch offices as needed.
