Human Resources Manager

A multi-sector company is recruiting a full-time Human Resources Manager for its operations in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. This strategic leadership role is designed for an experienced professional to lead and implement people strategies across both the Hospitality and Oil & Gas divisions. The HR Manager will align people strategies with business objectives, drive organizational growth, and manage workforce operations for a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities-
Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement overarching HR strategies aligned with business objectives, and lead end-to-end recruitment and workforce planning initiatives.

Performance & Engagement: Oversee performance management, structured appraisal processes, and drive employee relations, engagement, and internal conflict resolution.

Operations & Administration: Manage compensation frameworks, benefits structures, payroll administration, and coordinate learning and development programs.

Compliance & Data: Ensure absolute compliance with Nigerian labor laws, company policies, and specific industry regulations while maintaining precise HR records, reporting systems, and workforce analytics.

Safety Support: Support corporate health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) initiatives across business locations.

Tenure: Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years operating in a dedicated managerial role.

Sector Background: Experience within Hospitality, Oil & Gas, Energy, Facilities Management, or related industries is highly desirable.

Core Capabilities: Strong operational knowledge of Nigerian labor laws, performance management frameworks, employee relations, and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS, HR analytics software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Degree: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is considered an added advantage.

Certifications: Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, HRCI, or CIPD is preferred.

Compensation: Competitive monthly salary ranging from ₦1,000,000 to ₦1,500,000.
