Finance Executive
About this role
Filmhouse Group is recruiting a full-time Finance Executive to join its team at Victoria Island, Lagos. This role is designed for a detail-oriented accounting professional to oversee daily transactions, financial reporting, and asset management workflows. The successful candidate will maintain accuracy across the company’s internal financial systems while supporting broader budgeting, policy implementation, and auditing activities.
Key Responsibilities-
Transaction & Record Keeping: Keep accurate records for all daily transactions, process invoices, and accurately record accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare balance sheets and compile comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Reconciliation & Cash Management: Reconcile bank statements, track bank deposits and payments, and update internal systems with financial data.

Audit & Budgeting: Participate in financial audits and assist with the company's budget preparation.

Asset & Policy Management: Manage the fixed assets register (properly recording additions, reclassifications, and disposals) and support the review and implementation of financial policies.

Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Core Capabilities: Strong understanding of double-entry accounting, asset tracking, financial reconciliation, and corporate compliance frameworks.

Degree: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional License: Must hold an ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria) qualification or equivalent.
