Senior HR Officer - Talent Management, Data & Systems Support
About this role
Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a permanent, full-time Senior HR Officer - Talent Management, Data & Systems Support (officially titled Senior People & Culture Officer) to join its team in Abuja. This role provides comprehensive administrative, data, and systems support to the P&C Manager, ensuring consistency, policy alignment, and high-quality standards across all internal functions in Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration (30%): Manage employee lifecycles (starters/leavers) on Cascade, lead Learning & Development/performance management tracking, coordinate new hire inductions, support exit processes, and administer benefits policies.

Performance & Development (25%): Ensure probationary and annual appraisals (APRs/ADRs) comply with organizational timelines, maintain compliance trackers, and collate country-wide training needs.

Payroll Administration (20%): Capture monthly variations on payroll software, align contract documentation with internal policies, maintain benefit records, and manage highly confidential filing systems.

Data Management (25%): Maintain databases for recruitment and consultancies, draft monthly P&C reports and KPIs, take minutes for sensitive meetings (e.g., disciplinary actions), and execute advanced data analysis on HRIS platforms.
Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related professional experience, including prior tenure in a similar-level capacity.

Technical Skills: Robust background in data management, HR analytics, payroll management, and records retention, alongside advanced proficiency in MS Excel.

Education: First-degree level certificate in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Legal & Regulatory: Comprehensive knowledge of Nigerian employment law and the legal right to work in Nigeria.
