Travel General Manager
About this role
Travoofy, a leading Nigerian online travel agency offering flight and hotel bookings, visa assistance, tour packages and more, is hiring a Travel General Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership across sales, travel operations, customer experience, finance, partnerships and people management.
About the role
The General Manager is responsible for the overall direction of the travel business, driving revenue and commercial growth while keeping operations, service quality, credit control and team performance on track.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Tourism, Hospitality, Travel & Tourism, or a related field
- 7+ years' relevant professional experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial or senior leadership role
- Proven experience managing business operations, sales, or a commercial team
- Strong knowledge of the travel and tourism industry
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and business growth
- Strong understanding of corporate travel, travel operations and credit control
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance through KPIs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and travel or business management systems
