Social Media Officer

Bedrock Group, a hospitality business in Ikeja, Lagos, is hiring a Social Media Officer to manage its social media presence across multiple platforms, leading content creation, online community engagement, social media strategy, and performance tracking. The role involves shooting and editing content, writing engaging captions, scheduling posts, analyzing performance, and managing online communities to strengthen brand visibility, drive engagement, and increase bookings

• Create, shoot, and edit engaging photo and video content (reels, stories, interviews, and promotional videos)
• Manage posting, scheduling, and day-to-day page operations across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms
• Develop creative campaign ideas and storytelling content that align with brand objectives
• Respond to DMs, comments, inquiries, and reviews while driving engagement and conversions
• Manage content calendars and ensure the timely deployment of creatives
• Track social media analytics, prepare weekly reports, and recommend optimization strategies
• Cover brand events and activities, including evening or weekend engagements when required

• OND/HND/BSc in Marketing, Mass Communication, or a related field
• 3-4 years' proven experience managing social media pages for brands (portfolio required)
• Strong video shooting and editing skills using CapCut, Premiere Pro, InShot, or similar tools
• Excellent caption writing and storytelling ability
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing content calendars
• Experience in hospitality, lifestyle, entertainment, or F&B brands is an added advantage
• Ability to manage multiple brand pages simultaneously
• Familiarity with tools such as Slack, Trello, or Asana is an advantage
• Willingness to work on-site and cover weekend/evening events when required
