HR & People Operations Manager

Our client, an interior design and fitting company in the construction sector, is seeking a strategic and people-focused HR & People Operations Manager to oversee human resources operations and support the development of a high-performing workforce.

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and employee integration.
• Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures and employee documentation.
• Coordinate performance management and employee development initiatives.
• Support employee engagement, welfare and retention strategies.
• Manage employee relations and resolve workplace concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Monitor attendance, leave and other HR-related activities.
• Support workforce planning and organizational development.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Nigerian employment and labour regulations.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for management.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in HR/People Operations, preferably in a fast-paced or growing organization.
• Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM or equivalent is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian employment practices and labour regulations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong organizational and people-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR management systems.
