Quality Assurance & Control Officer

Eterna Plc is seeking a Quality Assurance & Control Officer to ensure that all manufactured products meet and exceed customer and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory analysis on petroleum products (PMS, AGO, lubricants, etc.).
• Document laboratory analysis results.
• Maintain inventory of reagents used for laboratory analysis.
• Take samples of products onboard ships for analysis.
• Supervise the sealing of loaded petroleum product tankers and lubricant products.
• Ensure adherence to established systems, processes, procedures and policies and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in the storage, identification, and retrieval of laboratory reference samples.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Laboratory Science or Chemistry.
• Minimum of 1 year's experience in petroleum or lubricant products and testing using standard test methods such as ASTM and NIS/SON, or equivalent, is an advantage.
