Logistics Manager
About this role
HT-Limited, a business management consulting firm, is seeking Logistics Managers to oversee the planning, coordination and execution of supply chain and distribution operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods, efficient inventory management and cost-effective logistics solutions. Positions are available in Abeokuta (Ogun State) and Ikoyi (Lagos).
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services
- Optimise supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams
- Supervise fleet operations and delivery schedules
- Ensure timely dispatch and distribution of goods
- Negotiate contracts with transport providers
- Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records
- Implement warehouse best practices and coordinate audits and cycle counts
- Lead and train logistics staff to achieve performance targets
- Prepare logistics performance reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
- Implement health, safety and environmental policies
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
- 4-7 years' experience in logistics or supply chain management
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and logistics software
- Excellent leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage budgets and negotiate contracts
