Assistant Manager, Engineering Procurement

Job Overview:

• Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data; get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data
• Engage in database management and reporting
• Engage in process optimization
• Oversee vendor management
• Ensure compliance with relevant management and statutory policies/regulations
• Conduct market research
• Coordinate purchase of imported and local engineering spares in consultation with the user
• Purchase packaging materials, both local and imported
• Responsible for purchasing Soybean meal bags, fuels, solvents and chemicals
• Receive plant requirements from the Store

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8 years' relevant work experience
• MBA and/or any relevant professional body certification will be an added advantage
• Analytical skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite — Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Good knowledge of engineering parts; SAP will be an added advantage
