Medical Officer

Harmony 360 Health is seeking a competent and patient-centred Medical Officer to provide quality medical care, with a strong focus on paediatric urgent care, under the supervision of a consultant physician.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage common acute illnesses.
• Provide paediatric urgent care for conditions including fever, respiratory infections, asthma, and dehydration.
• Recognise critically ill patients and initiate stabilisation and referral.
• Perform clinical procedures within areas of competence.
• Order and interpret appropriate investigations.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and caregivers.
• Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams.
• Follow clinical protocols and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.
• Full registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria and valid practising license.
• Completed housemanship with relevant post-housemanship experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and emergency recognition skills.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Paediatric clinical experience is highly desirable.
• Experience in paediatric emergencies and resuscitation is an advantage.
