Senior Security Engineer
About this role
Credit Direct Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Security Engineer to strengthen the security of its cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes platforms, software delivery pipelines, and data environments while supporting regulatory and industry compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Implement and manage security controls across AWS environments.
- Secure Kubernetes (EKS) clusters, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead security monitoring, threat detection, and incident response activities.
- Strengthen database and data security controls.
- Support compliance with PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NDPR, and CBN requirements.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation.
- Automate security operations using Python, Bash, Terraform, and AWS tools.
- Provide security guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field.
- Six to eight years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience.
- At least four years securing AWS production workloads and two years securing Kubernetes environments.
- Strong expertise in AWS security services, Kubernetes security, DevSecOps, and database security.
- Professional certifications such as AWS Security Specialty, CKS, CISSP, CISM, CCSP, OSCP, or GIAC certifications are highly preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments; financial services experience is an advantage.
