Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Moniepoint is a financial technology company providing payment, banking, credit and business management products.

The Senior Quality Assurance Engineer will ensure products meet customer needs and quality standards through structured testing, automation and clear reporting before release.

• Translate product requirements into comprehensive test strategies.
• Develop detailed test plans and test cases.
• Execute functional and integration testing.
• Coordinate test-case reviews and identify coverage gaps.
• Publish test reports and communicate results.
• Track defect density, coverage and open defects.
• Develop robust test-automation approaches and scripts.
• Manage testing and configuration activities.
• Create mocks and stubs for isolated testing.
• Ensure requirements are testable and understood.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Seven or more years of Quality Engineering experience.
• Ability to write clear, comprehensive test plans.
• Programming skills in Java, TypeScript or JavaScript for automation.
• Experience testing APIs, microservices, mobile and web applications.
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases and pub-sub technologies.
• Experience with Linux or Unix and cloud infrastructure.
• Non-functional testing experience covering performance and security.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Jira, Postman, Playwright, Selenium or RestAssured.
• Strong Agile/Scrum, troubleshooting and communication skills.
