Ashcorp Group is hiring a Retail Marketing & Activations Intern to join its team in Lekki Phase 1, Lagos

Role Overview

The Retail Marketing & Activations Intern will support the planning and execution of retail marketing initiatives, brand activations, events, and customer engagement activities across Ashluxury

The role will work closely with the Marketing, Retail, Creative, and other relevant teams to support initiatives that strengthen brand visibility, enhance the in-store customer experience, and drive engagement

Key Responsibilities

Retail Marketing Support

• Support the execution of retail marketing initiatives
• Assist with in-store campaigns, product launches, seasonal initiatives, promotions, and brand moments
• Support the implementation of visual and promotional marketing materials across retail touchpoints
• Conduct regular checks on the execution and presentation of retail marketing initiatives
• Support activities that enhance customer engagement and the overall luxury retail experience

Brand Activations & Events

• Assist in planning and executing brand activations, events, pop-ups, trunk shows, launches, and other customer-facing experiences
• Support event logistics, including venue preparation, materials, guest coordination, and on-ground execution
• Assist with coordinating vendors, suppliers, and other external partners involved in activations
• Support guest registration, customer engagement, and general event coordination
• Capture and document activations through photos, videos, attendance records, and activity reports

Market & Customer Insights

• Conduct research on luxury retail, consumer trends, competitor activities, and relevant brand activations
• Monitor competitor retail experiences, campaigns, events, and customer engagement initiatives
• Gather customer feedback and observations from retail activities and activations
• Support the team with insights that can inform future retail marketing initiatives

Campaign & Content Support

• Support the coordination of creative and marketing assets required for retail campaigns and activations
• Work with the Creative team to ensure required materials are available for planned initiatives
• Assist with creating basic content and documentation from retail activities for relevant marketing channels
• Support the documentation and organisation of campaign and activation materials

Reporting & Administration Support

• Maintain records of retail marketing activities, activations, events, and related materials
• Support the preparation of post-activation reports, including activities completed, attendance, customer engagement, observations, and key learnings
• Track assigned marketing activities and deliverables
• Provide general administrative and coordination support to the Retail Marketing & Activations team

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field
• 0-1 year of experience; previous internship experience in marketing, retail, events, customer experience, or a related area is an advantage
• Strong interest in retail marketing, brand activations, events, and customer experience
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Creative, proactive, and willing to take initiative
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and participating in on-ground activities
• Basic knowledge of social media or content creation is an advantage
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or outside regular hours when required for retail activations or events
