Mini Van Sales Representative

Total Data Limited (TDL) is recruiting a Mini Van Sales Representative (Mobile Sales Representative) on behalf of a client in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry. The successful candidate will manage assigned sales territories, build customer relationships, distribute products from a company vehicle, generate new business and achieve sales targets

Key Responsibilities

• Follow assigned daily sales routes to maximise customer coverage and sales opportunities
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
• Visit existing retail outlets and identify prospective customers
• Promote FMCG products and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
• Monitor market activities, customer feedback, competitor pricing and product demand
• Drive the company vehicle safely and comply with road safety regulations
• Load, arrange and secure products while maintaining accurate stock records
• Process and fulfil customer orders directly from the vehicle
• Keep the assigned vehicle clean, roadworthy and properly maintained
• Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers and distributors
• Collect customer payments, maintain accurate records and remit funds promptly
• Report stock shortages, damaged or expired products and inventory discrepancies
• Maintain daily records of sales, orders, deliveries, cash collections and stock movements
• Submit complete daily reports to the Sales Supervisor

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE
• Valid driver's licence and an excellent, verifiable driving record
• 1-2 years of experience in mobile sales, route sales, FMCG distribution, van sales or a related field
• Proven ability to generate orders, drive sales and achieve commercial targets
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Basic numerical skills for cash handling and record-keeping
• Physical fitness to load, unload and organise products
• High integrity, trustworthiness, safety awareness, self-motivation and customer-focused attitude
• Good knowledge of road networks in the assigned Lagos territories: Mainland, Marina, Satellite Town, Obalende and Ibeju-Lekki
