Job Details
- Location: Lagos and Ogun
- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: NGN 120,000 - 180,000 monthly
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' individual needs using medical information and personal interviews
- Develop plans to help patients adjust to medical diagnoses and transition from healthcare facilities to everyday life
- Provide support based on patients' health conditions, personal circumstances, and emotional needs
- Research local support groups and resources suitable for individual patients
- Evaluate the effectiveness of services and resources provided to patients
- Follow up with patients throughout diagnosis, treatment, and recovery to assess their mental and emotional well-being
- Stay updated on local resources and relevant medical research to provide appropriate recommendations
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain medical concepts in understandable language
- Compassionate approach when working with patients of all ages and conditions
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
