About the Role

BrandCo Nigeria Limited is seeking a Retail Assistant Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, drive sales, manage staff and inventory, and deliver excellent customer service across its retail locations

Job Details

• Locations: Festival Mall (Festac), Ikeja City Mall (Ikeja), Circle Mall (Lekki), Novare Lekki Mall (Sangotedo), Lagos
• Job Type: Full-time
• Compensation: NGN 210,000 - 220,000 monthly (net)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store targets
• Analyse sales performance, monitor competitors and market trends, and implement promotions to increase revenue
• Ensure customer satisfaction, handle complaints and escalations, and train staff in customer service
• Recruit, train, mentor, schedule, and evaluate sales associates
• Maintain adequate stock levels, coordinate deliveries, and implement inventory control measures to reduce stock losses
• Maintain store cleanliness, organisation, and visual merchandising standards
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and operational procedures
• Oversee cash handling, POS operations, daily sales reconciliation, and store audits
• Prepare sales, inventory, and customer reports and analyse key performance indicators to improve store performance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related discipline is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail management
• Experience supervising teams, managing daily retail operations, driving sales, and delivering excellent customer service
• Proficiency in retail management systems, including POS, inventory management, and CRM software
• Strong leadership, people management, sales, customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good numeracy, literacy, communication, organisation, and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment and collaborate effectively with a team
• Attention to detail and a good eye for style, product coordination, and visual presentation
• Interest in sports and fashion is desirable
