Content Strategist

Olive Gate LLC, a real estate business serving buyers, renters, and sellers, is seeking a Content Strategist to improve social media conversion and organic audience growth. The successful candidate will lead content strategy, positioning, content direction, and analytics while working with an existing Social Media Manager responsible for design, editing, scheduling, and publishing

Job Details

• Location: Remote (must be based in Nigeria)
• Job Type: Part-time, Independent Contractor
• Compensation: NGN 80,000 - 120,000 per month
• Working Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Develop content positioning and content pillars
• Direct content strategy and provide briefs for the Social Media Manager
• Drive organic audience growth and improve engagement and conversion
• Analyse social media performance and use insights to guide content decisions
• Develop strategies to improve audience response without relying solely on the principal appearing on camera
• Ensure content proposals are original, relevant, and aligned with the target audience

Requirements

• Demonstrable evidence of organically growing a named social media account from a low base, supported by figures over a defined period and an explanation of the decisions that drove growth
• A portfolio of strategic content work, including the intended objectives of each piece
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret social media metrics
• Real estate experience is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with international property markets and African diaspora audiences is an advantage
• Ability to develop original, relevant content strategies rather than focusing on content production
• Must be based in Nigeria

• One named account they grew organically, including figures before and after growth and the changes that led to the results

Shortlisted applicants will receive a written scenario to diagnose. This will be the final and most important stage of the assessment

Note

A formal performance review will take place after 90 days. If agreed performance metrics are met, compensation and scope will be reviewed upward
