Key Responsibilities
- Process room reservations accurately and maintain updated booking records
- Respond to inquiries about room availability, rates, hotel amenities, and services
- Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximise revenue
- Assist guests with special requests, VIP arrangements, and reservation-related concerns
- Resolve guest complaints professionally and coordinate with relevant departments
- Communicate with guests via phone, email, and in person
- Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and events
- Prepare reports on reservations, occupancy, and guest feedback
- Support promotional packages and maintain accurate records of guest interactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar customer service role is preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in hotel reservation systems, particularly Resaweb and Opera Cloud
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain high service standards
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local attractions and events is an advantage
- Hospitality-related education or training is beneficial
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends
