About the Role
MediaHub is looking for a Social Media Content Creator to join our team — fully remote, open to anyone who can deliver, regardless of location. This is not a role built around clocking hours; it is built around output. We care about what gets shipped, not when you are logged in. You manage your own schedule.
What You Will Do
- Repurpose existing content into short-form video for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube
- Research and source interesting, relevant, and trending material worth turning into content. (Politics, celebrity gist, Geo-politics, sports, finance etc..)
- Edit clips, write captions that sound human, and shape how our brand — and our clients' brands — show up online
- Stay on top of platform trends, formats, and what is actually working right now
Tools You Should Be Comfortable With
A working understanding of the following is important:
- Editing software (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolves or similar)
- Design tools (e.g. Canva, CorelDraw, PhotoShop, Modern AI Models)
- Social/content management tools (e.g. Meta Business Suite, scheduling platforms)
We are able to provide certain tools and subscriptions to support the role, but having your own working device (laptop or equivalent) is preferred.
What We Are Looking For
- Originality, range, and a genuine eye for content that stops the scroll
- Diligence and reliability — someone who delivers without needing to be chased
- Comfort working independently and managing your own time
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in content creation, social media management, or video editing
- A portfolio or reel showcasing past work
Work Arrangement
Fully remote. Delivery-focused, not hours-focused.
