About this role
The HR Officer will support the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources function, including recruitment, employee onboarding, personnel documentation, employee engagement, attendance management, and general HR administration. The role requires a highly organized and people-oriented individual who can maintain confidentiality and effectively support both employees and management.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment & Onboarding

Support the recruitment process from job posting and candidate sourcing to interview coordination and selection.

Screen CVs and assist with shortlisting qualified candidates.

Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.

Prepare onboarding documentation and coordinate the onboarding of new employees.

Maintain an up-to-date employee and candidate database.
HR Administration
-
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files.
-
Monitor employee attendance, leave, and other HR-related records.
-
Prepare HR reports, letters, memos, and other employment documentation.

Assist with the preparation and updating of HR policies and procedures.

Support the administration of employee benefits and other HR processes.
Employee Relations & Engagement

Serve as a point of contact for employees on routine HR-related matters.

Support employee engagement and welfare initiatives.

Assist in addressing employee concerns and escalate complex issues to management where necessary.

Support disciplinary and performance management processes in line with company policies.
Performance & Learning
-
Support performance appraisal and review processes.
-
Assist in identifying training and development needs.

Coordinate internal training sessions and maintain training records.
Compliance
-
Ensure HR activities are carried out in line with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information and sensitive HR matters.

Assist with HR audits and statutory documentation when required.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree or HND in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional HR certification such as CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI is an advantage.
Experience
-
1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related administrative role.

Experience in recruitment and HR administration is preferred.
