Coding Tutor
About this role
Brint Online School is seeking a Coding Tutor to teach learners of different ages and levels.
Responsibilities
- Teach programming fundamentals and guide learners through exercises, assignments and projects
- Tailor lessons to each learner's age, level and objectives
- Teach Python, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Java or Scratch as needed
- Troubleshoot code and support learners in problem-solving
- Track learner progress and provide feedback
- Encourage learners to build practical projects
- Conduct classes professionally and punctually
Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field
- Strong knowledge of at least one major programming language
- Hands-on coding and project experience
- Teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage
- Ability to explain technical concepts simply
- Good communication, patience and problem-solving skills
- Proficient computer skills and reliable internet access
- Comfortable teaching remotely
