About the Role
Credence Gate Limited, an HR consulting and recruitment firm, is hiring an Internal Audit Officer (senior internal audit role) in Lagos. We are looking for an analytical, thorough and strategic audit professional to drive strong governance, risk control and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Leadership: Plan and execute risk-based operational, financial and compliance audit assignments across all business units
- Control and Governance: Evaluate the strength of internal controls, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and risk mitigation frameworks
- Compliance Assurance: Ensure strict alignment with internal policies, IFRS guidelines and statutory regulations
- Reporting and Value Creation: Draft clear, actionable audit reports with recommendations to plug financial leakages and boost efficiency
- Tracking: Follow up on audit findings and ensure prompt implementation of corrective action plans across teams
Requirements
- Education: BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
- Experience: 3-6 years of progressive experience in internal control, internal audit or external audit
Salary
NGN 500,000 - 800,000 per month
