Laboratory Analyst

Quatenary International Company Limited (QICL), an environmental consultancy and laboratory services company based in Warri, Delta State, is hiring a Laboratory Analyst

The Laboratory Analyst is responsible for analysing environmental samples including water, gases, sediments and soils while maintaining laboratory quality and safety standards

• Conduct chemical, biochemical, physical and biological analyses using laboratory instruments
• Follow quality assurance, safety and sample chain-of-custody procedures
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Accurately record and manage laboratory data, including through LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
• Collect environmental samples in the field when required
• Develop and implement analytical methods when needed

• BSc, HND or ND in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry or Science Laboratory Technology
• Proficiency in quantitative laboratory analysis and safety practices
• Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment
• Ability to accurately record and interpret data
• Strong communication skills
