Marriott International is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor in Lagos to oversee inventory, deliveries, purchasing records, vendor issues, and food safety compliance while supporting daily operations and supervising team members

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain organised purchasing records, invoices, inventory reports, and other documents
• Calculate inventory, order quantities, and costs; conduct inventory audits and monitor stock levels
• Receive, verify, track, and process deliveries, ensuring damaged or incorrect items are rejected
• Resolve vendor delivery issues and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports
• Monitor food inventory levels and ensure compliance with food safety and handling procedures
• Support staff training, scheduling, coaching, and performance management
• Maintain quality, safety, company policy, and professional appearance standards
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure adequate coverage and effective service delivery

Requirements

• Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related work experience
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Strong record-keeping, communication, organisation, and inventory management skills
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for the role
