Growth Lead, Fintech (Stocks)

Scouthappy Partner is hiring on behalf of a venture-backed cross-border payments startup that simplifies how money moves across and into Africa. The Growth Lead owns growth for a consumer fintech stocks product, from finding customers through activation and retention

You will combine customer insight with quantitative thinking and practical execution. Unusual backgrounds are welcome. An interest in stablecoins is a plus

Job Details

• Location: Remote (open to applicants in Nigeria)

• Experience: 3-5 years in growth, product growth, or a closely related consumer role

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own the growth roadmap across acquisition, activation, and retention
• Identify promising customer segments and reach them through consumer communities, partnerships, and direct outreach
• Run experiments that help customers understand, adopt, and keep using the product
• Use product analytics to identify where customers drop off and turn those findings into improvements
• Speak directly with customers to understand motivations, trust concerns, and alternatives
• Develop messaging that makes the product value clear and supports conversion
• Use AI tools to prototype growth solutions and automate repeatable work
• Work closely with product and commercial teams, taking responsibility for moving ideas into execution

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in growth, product growth, or a closely related role for a consumer business
• Track record of turning hypotheses into experiments, measuring results, and deciding what to do next
• Strong product judgment and comfort with funnels and growth metrics
• Initiative and resourcefulness: identify an opportunity, call the customer, and launch the test
• Clear communication and confidence engaging customers, communities, and potential partners
• Experience using AI tools to build practical solutions, or a strong willingness to learn

Helpful Experience

• Growing a consumer fintech product or another consumer product where trust matters
• Taking a new product to market or growing a product for customers in Nigeria
• Understanding of how consumers evaluate and adopt financial products
• Working knowledge of content, paid acquisition, or search
• Interest in stablecoins is a plus
