Operations Supervisor - Inventory Control & Loss Prevention

Iteka Integrated Services Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, drive sales, and prevent stock losses while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Job Details
- Location: Abuja, FCT, Nigeria
- Work Arrangement: On-site

- Experience: Mid level - 3+ years retail operations, inventory management, or store supervision
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory through regular audits and cycle counts to ensure accuracy
- Develop and implement inventory control processes and loss prevention strategies
- Execute business strategies and marketing activities to boost sales and support store expansion
- Meet and exceed monthly sales targets set by Executive Management
- Reconcile daily sales figures with POS and store records
- Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Investigate stock losses, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
- Prepare monthly reports on inventory, stock losses, and operational performance
- Identify fast-moving products and maintain optimal stock levels
- Analyse sales data to support business decisions and process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legal regulations
- Liaise with mall management to ensure smooth store operations
- Perform other duties assigned by the Operations Manager and Executive Board
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail operations, inventory management, or store supervision
- Strong understanding of inventory control, loss prevention, and sales analytics
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Knowledge of legal regulations and compliance requirements related to retail operations
- Experience in a fast-paced retail environment and team management capabilities
