Athena Institute of Business and Technology (AIBT) is seeking an Application Support Analyst to troubleshoot and maintain business applications, resolve technical issues, and ensure smooth system operations
Job Details
- Location: Remote (Nigeria)
- Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first- and second-level application support
- Diagnose and resolve application errors and performance issues
- Monitor systems and manage support tickets in line with SLAs
- Support application installations, upgrades, testing, and deployments
- Perform basic SQL queries and database checks
- Manage user access and document incidents and resolutions
- Train users and recommend improvements to application performance
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and security standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or HND in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant application or IT support experience
- Knowledge of SQL, database troubleshooting, and ticketing systems such as Jira or ServiceNow
- Understanding of incident management, Windows, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications
- Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and customer service skills
- ITIL, Microsoft, or CompTIA certifications are an advantage
