The Graduate Sales Engineer role is a developmental program designed to train future engineering and business leaders through formal and on-the-job training in technical and commercial domains

Responsibilities

• Participate actively in developmental programs and gain the right skill sets
• Deliver assigned program projects excellently
• Support and collaborate with the service and sales team and local business partners in the region
• Work closely with service engineers and the sales/business development team to improve service delivery and sales in Nigeria
• Support the development and implementation of sales and service strategies for the region
• Develop long-term relationships within customer accounts and improve customer satisfaction
• Keep up to date with developments in products, industries and market trends
• Follow Emerson ethics, trade compliance and record retention procedures in all business transactions

Requirements

• Age: Not older than 26 years
• Degree in Electrical/Electronic, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or sciences such as Physics, Chemistry, Geology or Computer Science, with a minimum of Second Class Upper
• Must have completed NYSC or received a discharge or exemption certificate by December 2026
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Fluent in English
• Action oriented and committed

Preferred Qualifications

• 0-2 years post-graduate work experience
• Oil and gas industry experience is a plus
• Excellent presentation and organisational skills
• Curiosity and desire to learn, flexible and adaptable
• Highly ethical with strong integrity
