Customer Service Representative

OhmFlex is seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative to assist customers with product setup, connectivity and technical enquiries across multiple support channels while helping improve service delivery

Job Details

• Location: Victoria Island, Lagos (Office/Hybrid)
• Job Type: Independent Contractor
• Compensation: NGN 150,000 gross
• Job Field: Customer Service / Technical Support

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via email, live chat and phone within response targets
• Guide customers through app setup, device pairing, Wi-Fi troubleshooting and product features
• Record support cases and manage returns, replacements and warranty claims
• Escalate technical issues with clear documentation
• Identify recurring problems, update FAQs and share customer feedback with the product team
• Learn and provide support for OhmFlex Smart Hub, Smart Switch, Smart Socket and Power Monitor products

Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in customer service, technical support or help desk operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting, organisational and customer relationship management skills
• Familiarity with iOS/Android apps, Wi-Fi, connected devices and ticketing or CRM tools
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries, work independently and handle frustrated customers professionally
• Experience with smart-home technology, IoT support, CRM tools or basic home electrics is an added advantage
