Frontend Developer

Xpress Payment Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer, preferably with a background in payments or fintech, to work on its payout solution, terminal monitoring solution and merchant payment interface. The role involves working closely with stakeholders on re-architecture and new features, integrating backend microservices, and keeping high-volume payment platforms fast and reliable for merchants and beneficiaries

Job Details

• Location: Ikeja GRA, Lagos
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Experience: 5 - 8 years

Required Skill Set

• Core: JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS/SASS and responsive design
• Frameworks: React (Hooks, Redux) and Vue (Vuex/Pinia)
• UI libraries: Ant Design, Tailwind and Bootstrap
• Integration: proven experience integrating many backend microservices and APIs, with an eye on response times and API error rates
• Payments: skilled at building online payment flows (card, bank account, USSD, QR) and bulk payout or disbursement systems
• Dashboards: experience building user management, monitoring and reporting dashboards for merchants and field support teams
• Performance: able to optimize frontend assets and bundles with Webpack
• Workflow: Git, code reviews and reusable component design

• Detail-oriented, with good knowledge of code security and user experience in financial transactions
• Experience working in the same capacity in the fintech ecosystem

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• Industry experience is an added advantage
