A health, wellness and pharmaceuticals business in Lekki, Lagos is seeking an exceptional, commercially minded Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and oversee daily operations, build profitable partnerships and deliver outstanding customer experiences

Job Details

• Location: Lekki Phase 1, Lagos (On-site)
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Age: 30 and above
• Salary: NGN 800,000 - 1,200,000 monthly depending on experience, plus performance-based bonuses
• Start Date: Immediately, up to January 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all departments, staff and daily operations
• Drive sales, profitability, business development and customer retention
• Develop relationships with hospitals, pharmacies, clinics and international suppliers
• Oversee procurement, distribution, budgets and financial performance
• Create ideas that increase sales and drive the business forward
• Provide marketing and creative direction
• Manage CRM systems, staff performance and weekly and monthly reporting
• Maintain excellent service standards, operational efficiency and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Pharmacy, Healthcare Management or a related field
• Completed NYSC or valid exemption certificate
• Minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in a senior role
• Proven experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, medical equipment or wellness center management
• Strong leadership, financial management, CRM and analytical skills
• Critical thinking and relationship-building skills
• Established supplier networks and healthcare industry relationships
• Excellent negotiation, customer service and retention skills
• Knowledge of Nigerian healthcare regulations and emerging wellness trends
• West African distribution experience is a strong advantage
• Hospitality or luxury customer experience background is an added advantage
