Hope Spring Community Humanitarian Initiative is seeking an Intern Accounting Officer to support daily financial operations, recordkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, invoices, receipts, and expenses
• Assist with bank reconciliations and preparation of monthly financial reports
• Support accounts payable, receivable, and budget tracking
• Maintain organized financial records and update the general ledger
• Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
• Perform financial data entry and basic analysis using Excel or accounting software
• Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and proper financial documentation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements
• Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
• Strong numerical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Willingness to learn and take initiative
