About this role
MartGlobal Limited—a leading manufacturing company producing high-quality packaging polythene products—is recruiting a full-time Human Resources Manager. Based in Iyana Ipaja, Lagos, this role leads end-to-end HR operations, policy execution, labor law compliance, and workforce management with a strong emphasis on overseeing both permanent staff and a large casual manufacturing workforce.
Key Responsibilities-
Casual & Permanent Workforce Management: Oversee the recruitment, attendance tracking, leave administration, welfare, and disciplinary procedures for both permanent employees and casual factory workers.

HR Operations & Policy Development: Establish, implement, and monitor internal HR policies, SOPs, onboarding frameworks, and exit procedures.

Labor Compliance & Regulatory Liaison: Enforce strict compliance with Nigerian Labour Law and statutory regulations; liaise with relevant government bodies and regulatory agencies.

Performance & Relations Management: Drive annual staff appraisals, organize training programs, resolve workplace grievances, and maintain positive employee relations to boost productivity.

Reporting & Administration: Maintain HR databases, lead internal HR audits, compile manpower analyses, and prepare regular reporting dashboards for executive management.

Degree: Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or a related field.

Professional Qualifications: HR certifications (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, HRCI) are considered a strong added advantage.

Years of Experience: Minimum of 5 years of overall HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.

Sector Experience: Prior HR experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment is a distinct added advantage.

Legal & Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Nigerian Labour Law, casual labor management standards, and HR best practices.

Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Excel and MS Word.

Core Competencies: Excellent leadership, negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills under pressure.
