Reconciliation Analyst

Zest, a venture-backed digital therapeutics and healthcare technology company focused on chronic disease management and advanced personal health analytics, is recruiting a Reconciliation Analyst. Based in Lagos, this full-time role will oversee financial and transaction reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the company's payment and operational platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial & Transaction Reconciliation: Analyze and perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for operational transactions, client billings, and payment gateway settlements.

• Exception Handling & Discrepancy Resolution: Identify variances, track unmatched transactions, investigate accounting anomalies, and work cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies.

• Financial Reporting & Audit Support: Prepare comprehensive reconciliation reports, maintain detailed audit trails, and assist management with financial balance tracking.

• Process Efficiency: Collaborate with technical and operational teams to streamline reconciliation workflows and strengthen financial controls.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Relevant Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline.

• Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial reconciliation, data analysis, or financial operations (experience within HealthTech, FinTech, or fast-growing digital ventures is a strong advantage).

• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, data lookup tools) and familiarity with accounting or data reconciliation software.
