AI / IT Engineer Intern
About this role
Strivo Labs—a digital solutions provider specializing in custom product design, MVP development, workflow automation, and content creation—is recruiting an AI / IT Engineer Intern at its office in Ikeja, Lagos State. This hands-on internship bridges artificial intelligence and core IT operations, offering practical exposure to machine learning model experimentation, LLM API integration, dataset management, and office IT infrastructure support.
Key Responsibilities-
AI & Machine Learning Support: Assist in building, training, and evaluating ML models; clean and process datasets; prototype solutions using LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic); and integrate AI capabilities into product workflows.

Core IT Operations: Troubleshoot office hardware and software issues, configure workstations and servers, manage user accounts, and maintain network infrastructure.

Automation & Scripting: Draft basic scripts for workflow automation, data ingestion pipelines, and system maintenance tasks.

Documentation & Technical Collaboration: Document findings, technical procedures, and system setups while working across engineering and product teams.

Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree / Higher Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field.

Programming Skills: Working knowledge of Python and general scripting.

Core Fundamentals: Understanding of basic IT principles (operating systems, networking concepts, hardware troubleshooting).

Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Git, or system admin tools.
