About this role
Phidel School—a private, co-educational day school providing crèche, pre-elementary, and elementary education—is recruiting a Social Media / Video Editor (YouTube) for its campus in Egbeda, Lagos State. This full-time creative position focuses on editing video content, managing the school’s YouTube channel, and producing engaging social media content that highlights school activities, events, and educational achievements.
Key Responsibilities-
Video Editing & Production: Edit engaging, high-quality video footage of school events, classroom activities, interviews, and student showcases for online distribution.

YouTube Channel Management: Oversee the school's YouTube channel, including content uploading, title optimization, video thumbnails, tags, and playlist management.

Social Media Content Creation: Create short-form video clips (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) and visual posts to boost parental engagement and brand visibility across digital platforms.

Storytelling & Brand Promotion: Collaborate with school management and teachers to translate academic and extracurricular activities into compelling visual stories.

Experience: Proven experience in video editing and social media/YouTube channel management.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve) and basic graphic design tools for thumbnails/posts (e.g., Canva or Photoshop).

SEO & Platform Knowledge: Understanding of YouTube SEO, video engagement metrics, thumbnails, and social media trends.

Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, creative storytelling ability, and good communication skills.
