Job Description

Provide strategic direction, operational leadership, and overall executive management for a microfinance bank.

Drive deposit mobilization, lending portfolio expansion, revenue growth, and asset quality.

Ensure strict compliance with CBN regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and corporate governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and execute the bank's strategic business plan under board direction.

Direct all business functions including lending, credit, treasury, finance, operations, risk management, and internal control.

Drive growth in customer acquisition, deposits, overall revenue, and loan portfolio asset quality.

Ensure full compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations, statutory obligations, and governance practices.

Lead, mentor, and retain executive and departmental management teams.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

10–15 years of relevant professional experience, with substantial senior management experience in banking, microfinance banking, or financial services.

Deep understanding of Nigerian microfinance operations, CBN regulatory framework, and corporate governance standards.

Proven track record in lending, deposit mobilization, financial analysis, risk management, and organizational leadership.

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes
