Head, Enterprise Risk Management
About this role
SEA-FAJ Consulting is recruiting on behalf of its client, a reputable organisation in the Financial Services sector, for an experienced professional to fill the position of Head, Enterprise Risk Management in Lagos
Key Responsibilities- Lead and enhance the organisation's Enterprise Risk Management framework
- Identify, assess, monitor, and report enterprise-wide risks
- Develop and monitor risk appetite, risk indicators, and mitigation strategies
- Provide independent risk oversight and strategic advice to senior management
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and industry requirements
- Work with business units to strengthen risk management and internal controls
- Prepare risk reports and recommendations for senior management and relevant committees
- Monitor emerging risks and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are implemented
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master's degree or professional certification such as FRM, CFA, ICAN, ACCA, CERM, or equivalent is an advantage
- Minimum 8-10 years' relevant experience in risk management, banking, financial services, audit, or compliance
- Strong knowledge of enterprise risk, governance, regulatory requirements, and internal controls
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
