About the Role

Open Hospital Limited is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to support healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care and maintaining a safe, clean environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor and report patients' vital signs and changes in condition.
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient areas.
• Support nursing staff with routine care tasks.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Ensure medical equipment and supplies are clean and ready for use.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or equivalent.
• Health Care Assistance certificate or training is an advantage.
• Previous hospital, clinic, or care facility experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care and infection control.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform physically demanding tasks.
